Jamie Guitar, the proud owner of Guitar Hair Dezigns & Esthetics YMM, is a Certified Redken Haircolorist with over 22 years of experience in the hair industry. Jamie’s love for hairstyling began at the age of 8, and by the time he graduated high school in 2003, he was already on his way to becoming a professional. He enrolled at Bathurst Hair Academy to complete his Red Seal certification in hairstyling and additional training in barbering.

Driven by a passion for both hair artistry and exceptional customer service, Jamie’s vision of owning a salon with an amazing team has now become a reality at Guitar Hair Dezigns & Esthetics. His commitment to providing the best hair experience is reflected in the welcoming atmosphere he’s created.

Melissa Maser

With over 22 years of experience in the hair industry, Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Guitar Hair Dezigns & Esthetics YMM. Starting her career in 2003 and completing her apprenticeship in 2007, she has mastered the art of color, cutting, styling, and hair extensions, making her a go-to expert for all things hair.

Melissa’s outgoing personality and passion for client care make every salon visit an enjoyable experience. As the first employee of Guitar Hair Dezigns & Esthetics since 2019, she has played a key role in shaping the salon’s success. Her exceptional leadership has led her to take on the role of Salon Manager, where she continues to inspire the team while still working behind the chair to provide top-notch services to her loyal clients.

Originally from Nova Scotia, Zach has been a certified hairstylist since 2012. After spending eight years perfecting his craft in Edmonton, he was ready for a new adventure—bringing his expertise to Fort McMurray and joining our talented team!

With extensive knowledge in chemistry, hair color, integrity, balayages, blondes, and color corrections, Zach is a true specialist in creating stunning, customized looks. His deep understanding of Redken products and colors makes him an incredible asset, ensuring each client leaves feeling confident and beautiful.

Outside the salon, Zach enjoys spending time with friends, exploring great restaurants, and supporting local events, including live music. His passion for both hairstyling and community makes him an incredible asset to our team.

Charmon Kneller-Kwasney

We are excited to introduce Charmon Kneller-Kwasney, With a passion for beauty and wellness, Charmon offers a full range of esthetic services, including manicures, pedicures, waxing, facials, brow and lash tinting, and professional makeup applications or classes.

Charmon has been in the beauty industry since 1997, starting as both a hairstylist and esthetician before discovering her true love for esthetics. In 1998, she joined The Make-up Studio in Saskatoon, working under an internationally recognized, award-winning makeup artist. That same year, she entered her first competition—the L'Oréal Colour Competition—where she placed 2nd, even surpassing her mentor!

Throughout her career, Charmon has collaborated with renowned photographers and major networks such as CTV and CBC, working on events like The Antiques Roadshow and Town Hall with Peter Mansbridge. With decades of experience and expertise, she brings a wealth of knowledge in skincare, makeup, and beauty consulting, ensuring each client receives the highest level of care.

Jessica Madore

With nearly a decade of experience in the hairstyling industry, Jessica Madore is a passionate and skilled Journeyman Master Stylist based in Fort McMurray. Originally from Newfoundland, Jessica completed her hairstylist certification before making Fort McMurray her home, where she has built a strong reputation for creating stunning styles and making every guest feel beautiful.

Known for her warm personality and expertise, Jessica specializes in balayages, blondes, tape-in extensions, and updos, though her talents extend far beyond. With 20 years of experience behind the chair, Melissa O'Donnell is a master stylist known for her attention to detail and commitment to client satisfaction. She believes that her work isn’t complete until her guest feels truly happy and confident.

She has a passion for voluminous blowouts, curls, and “BIG HAIR,” bringing bold and glamorous styles to life. Hello, I’m Rebekah Pardy, and I’m thrilled to be part of the team as an apprentice stylist! I completed my hairstyling program at M.C. College in Edmonton and am excited to bring creativity and energy to every cut, color, and style.

When I’m not at the salon, you’ll find me spending time with family and friends, or hanging out with my two furry companions, Henry and Winnie, who are always up for an evening walk or cuddle session.

Amanda Ormond

Hello! I’m Amanda Ormond, a Master Hairstylist with 9 years of experience in the beauty industry. Originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, I relocated to Fort McMurray in February 2025, and I’m beyond excited to make my mark in this amazing community.

When I'm not behind the chair, you'll likely catch me watching my favorite shows, like The Office, Jersey Shore, and The Kardashians, or jamming out to Nicki Minaj and hits from the 2010s era while running errands or grabbing my daily iced coffee from McDonald's. I’m a Leafs fan by default, but don’t worry, the Oilers are my third favorite team!
